Was reading this book called "Men are form Mars, Women are from Venus" and I thought of discussing the topics in my blog so that guys can understand girls a bit better and same for the girls to understand thier guys better. This is quite an old book and I am sure you guys must have heard of it or even read it before. Well my friend borrowed me this book two weeks ago.

I just started reading the first topic: Mr Fix-it and Improvement community.

Basically saying that guys are always seeking solution, fixing problems themselves but when girls are troubled or met with probelms, they just want a listening ear and do not expect solution. However the guy they thought that they were showing love by trying to help and offering solutions. Well, girls just want to share her feelings about her day. Listen, guys learn to listen and a hug will solve everything.

" Guys value power,competency, efficiency and achievement. They are always doing things to prove themselves and develop their power and skills." So the ladies should understand why guy resist so much when being corrected or being told what to do?

I think the girls should not give too much advices or command your boy to do this and that too much. It will make them think that you are doubting their ability and feels that you are looking down on them.

Guys also have this personality of handling problems by themselves. Guys rarely talks about his problem unless he needs expert advice. He reasons " Why involve someone else when I can do it myself?" . The book says " Asking for help is pereived as a sign of weakness. I agree to this saying even though I am a girl, so I do have a bit of guy's character, woops.

Girls, you see why your boy don't talk much about their problems or seek solution from you? Well, guy seek for solutions to a problem themselves, would cover himselves up till he finds a solution. But women does not need a solution when talking and complaining about their problems with them(guys).

Conclusion: Ladies practice restraining from giving unsolicited advices or criticism. Your boy will appreciate it.

Guys Listen whenever your girl speak, with sole intention of respectfully understand what she is going through. Try to held back the urge of offering a solution or change how she feels. She will appreciate you too.
